Default Did a search for "Coil Bracket..."

So I am doing a 7120 head swap into a 2000 XJ. My 0331 head cracked.

I know the exhaust manifold is different, I got that covered.

What have others done to relocate or attach the coil pack to the 7120 head. I need your input. This is a daily driver, and I need this fixed ASAP.

Also, doing a search for coil anything produces lots of info on springs.

Thanks in advance!

I am not well versed in the coil pack issue since I have a distributor, but I would search for XJ ignition coil installation or something similar to try to weed out the suspension threads. NAXJA might be a good place to look as well.

Good luck!

You can just make L brackets that mount off the valve cover bolts and go to cool pack. You also need to make an extra ground strap from coil pack to a good ground

The coil pack bolts to the block (5/16-18 bolts). It would be very easy to make, but you should also easily find them at salvage yards. Try AMC4x4 if you don't have a good source locally. FYI - Many race teams relocate the coil elsewhere in the doghouse. Function over location in this situation.

He's referring to distributorless coil-on-plug with a coil rail... it bolts to the 0331 heads.
