Detroit Truetrac question

Atmos a 8.25 is in my future plans but I want to run a lunchbox locker in the rear and that won't be for a while. Maybe I'll just get a lunchbox for the rear and call it done if I can't get the truetrac for the 3.73 price... I suppose the carrier is too thick to hold the thin 3.54 gear ring? I don't wheel hard blue ratings at most

yes.. so I suggested that you do the 8.25 swap now because it does not have that pesky carrier break. you can put whatever traction device you like in it and leave the front alone for now

I can't financially since i have other things that come first before jeep extras. I'll just keep my eyes open for gears/used truetrac or something in the future. I'm sure my jeep would drive nice with 3.73 gearing with 31-32s. I still don't see why they have to make the price so much more even if it is supply and demand, seems like a good way to d*** someone over
