Hittin switches

 

I wired mine here but also used the backing plate with factory fog light symbol.

 

I rigged up my own mount since I have added another light and needed space for another switch.

1 license plate and 4 drilled holes later

just finished installing my switch board. surprised to say it doesn't get in the way at all!

shouldn't be too much of a problem, I've placed the smooth rounded edges towards my leg and it still sits offset to where my leg is. I also don't plan on wrecking, but if it were to happen I'd rather a cut on my leg be the worst of my problems

 

Its not the edge is sharp or not its how thin metal it is and how close it is to your knee/leg.

 

I completely understand what you are saying, as I stated earlier it does not get in the way nor does it come in contact with my leg at any time. this is a temporary set up considering it is made out of a license plate and two bolts. I am trying to come up with a way to get it away from the under side of my dash to keep me from reaching down there
