I have a Dana 60 from a International 4X4 truck that has 5X5 1/2" bolt pattern and 64' width, works great and wheels are easy to find, much easier than finding the rear-end!!!!! Chevokeeman.

Its not aluminum and yes I have built and installed ring and pinions and lockers in both D44 and D60 differentials so I know the diffirence, I just don't see a cover that matches the Grand Cherokee but the D60 is the same width as the cover on the Grand just minor difference on upper curvature. I have been to the salvage rumaging through the Grand Cherokees at Pull-A-Part but this is the first one I've seen, cover looks almost like the dana 60 and the housing looks as beefy as a dana 60 , guess the alum. has to be much beefier to take the stress, sorry for the false alarm but I do have a 14 bolt with detroit locker and disc brakes and Rusty's Offroad has a rear bracket set, hummmm. I can't believe you haven't been nominated yet... lol

On a Dana 60 you use 9/16 inch socket to remove the diff cover, on a Dana 44 you use 1/2 inch socket for the diff cover. It helps to know sometimes if you can't see the stamps.
