Does a D60 truss fit a solid D50?
I got a pair of axles from a 2000 F250 super duty. $200 for the pair (from a friend).
I'm not here to discuss the internal differences, strength, or any other commonly discussed subjects.
And the only reason I want a truss is to easily put coil buckets on the top. I'm not worried about the strength, since it's going in something light with moderately sized tires. I just can't get a solid answer on whether the 50 and 60 are close enough externally to use the readily available truss kits.

I think the pinion snout is a bit smaller on the 50 compared to the 60. Probably close enough to work with the 60 truss.
The only difference is the differential and housing, the axle tubes and outers are the same for both.
Thanks for the info. You wouldn't believe how hard that bit is to find.
Sounds like I might have a tiny bit of modification at worst, which what I figured.
