Unless your breaking stuff left and right or try to run bigger then a 35 the stock axles are good enough for most people. But i would replace the dana 35 with a chrysler 8.25 its cheap stronger and will hold up better then the dana 35 will.xjmarc is right axle swaps that are not a bolt in can get pricey fast.A custom made driveshaft can run 300 up.

I know they are a project what I meant by the last comment was the axles being wider and having to buy bigger flairs and wheels with a crazy off set just to make it work. I'm fine with fabbing if I can find a set that is the right width for the jeep

I know its an older thread but i wanted to chime in as my jeep has the 79 bronco swap. D44 up front and Ford 9 in rear. Johnny joints on the radius arms and rubicon 4.5 springs. IM runnin 37s right now and i need to cut more fender.
so far so good on the trails. I personally did not do the swap but it was done very well. Previous owner plated it from front to back as well.
