Default Dana 44 rear drive shaft mesurements

I was wondering if anyone has a stock rear drive shaft from a Cherokee with a Dana 44 rear? I'm doing a swap from a 8.25 to Dana 44 in my 2001 Cherokee. I have no lift or suspension mods. I want to compare measurements to my stock 8.25 driveshaft to see if it will fit with no lift.
Thanks for any help

your stock shaft might work both rears are bigger than the 35 which has the longer rear shaft

Now that's weird all the info I seen is that either the 8.25 driveshaft is too long or it fits in there perfect. I can't see how the Dana 44 drive shaft is longer (thanks for the help I really appreciate it but I'm really really confused)

I just got a quote for $650, for a reconditioned and painted D44, with new brakes and everything ready to bolt on. Even has the right gear ratio.

Is this a good deal?

A dana 44 rear shaft is 29-3/4" center to center of U joint or 31" end to end of U joint housing. A dana 35 rear shaft is 30-1/8" end to end of U joint housing. Hope this is what you was looking for.
