Default 4"+2" lift problems

So I installed a fabtech 4" lift on my xj yesterday plus a 2" coil booster and have problems with my control arms. I left the fabtech lowers and installed tera flex adjustable uppers.

Question is to what size to I adjust the upper?

Next ? is the lower is rubbing on the lower shock mount plate on the diff. What can I do to correct this?

seeing how you left the lowers adjust the uppers to the 4inch specs...http://www.lunghd.com/Tech_Articles/..._Arm_Chart.htm

Yucca-Man: Rubicon Express RE9900 Drop Brackets If i am reading this right, your at 6" of lift.both the lower and uppers need to be longer. the above chart are approximate lengths, with stock control arm mounts and drop brackets.i strongly suggest purchasing drop brackets or a LA upgrade at 6" of lift.your stock steering will also be maxed out and i would make sure your brake lines are long enough also.

the lowers hit the shock brackets because they werent meant to be run with that much lift. the best fix for your issues would be longarms. the cheap fix would be to adjust your arms to the correct length and you can notch the shock mounts to clear the arms. control arms for taller lifts usually have an offset joint or a bend in the arm to clear that mount.

My lower arm is fixed, so if I notch my shock bracket will that help?
I was also looking at Iron Man adjustable lowers that have a bend. They say they will work up to an 8" lift. Should these be mounted on stock location or will I need the drop brackets for these also?
