Transmission blues

89 4.0 removed all electronics went carburated and H.E.I. to install different cam for more torque. Question is this. Is there a company that makes a stand alone/aftermarket computer that will control the AW-4 tranny shift points? Or am I able to find old style tranny with throttle valve shift cable,or just go manual. Any help would help thanks

I'm not aware of an controllers for it, but it's used in many Toyota applications (Supra and etc) so there might be a controller from that scene. You could also just control it with a PLC like an Aurdino if you really want, but that would be entirely on you to figure out.

Personally I would reinstall the MPFI since you've pulled off quite a spectacular downgrade.

Failing that the RADesigns Winters Shifter setup.
