Thats what I was told, pairing the bigger tires with my stock gears would bind my axel, so I asked about putting 4:10s in and they said the same thing, that I would have to get a bigger axel due to how many times the tires rotate

Once again, I was told this

binding of gear wwill only happenn when running miss matched gear ratios or miss maatched tire sizes

Yeah, nothing would bind. Stock gears and 35s would just make it a gutless turd. Plenty people on this forum run d30s with 35s and all kinds of gears (as long as theyre matching obviously). That has nothing to do with binding. You might get more tire rubbing at turns if you are not lifted/trimmed/backspaced enough.

thanks for clearing it up guys, I was going to run 35s after I did my 7.5" lift if my 33s looked goofy but after I heard that(the binding BS) I didnt, plus the 33s look fine

Opinions on using a spool in the rear (8.25/29) and a Detroit in the front (Dana 30).
The Jeep is only used to drive to the mountain play areas around Yuma, Az and back.
It is very rare it is ever taken into town.
Being older (65) I don't know how many years I'll keep Jeeping in the mountains and would like to keep the costs down.
