depends on how much work you want to put into it? just from the pics it looks like it will need a complete overhaul of bearings and seals. are you going to run full width or will you cut it down?

Well full width is cool, and there are always 60/70 combos for sale around here, and I have pretty good fab skills, but for a dd? I get pretty sweet mileage outta my renix. Dunno...parts for a 44 are usually cheaper I'm assuming. Just not sure.

if ur guna go to full widths, then make it for a D60. going full widths arent worth it for only D44s. if you want D44s then get them from a grand wagoneer

This is a low pinion, HD D44 same as from a wagoneer style Jeep. It is full size, and would bring its own perils.... Do you have a matching width rear?
Are you converting front to leaf springs, or axle to coils?
And 150 seems high. I have a matching front and rear set from a wagoneer I am trying to unload for only 100 ... maybe I am too low? LMAO

I am talking about the width, I am familiar with Jeeps, and so the wagoneer came out, thats all I meant(and I corrected my thought in my previous post to reflect how it sounded in my own head.... LMAO). The HD 44 front the 3/4 ton ford trucks was exactly the same axle under the wagoneers. AMC's were a mix between ford dodge and chevy.
Anyways, although maybe I did not explain myself well enough, what I am really asking is, are you prepared for a suspension swap and do you have a matching rear?

and as for the "lug pattern", thats irrelevant being as the hubs are interchangeable and easily modified.

Unless you want to run front drums skip it. It's a closed knuckle 44 and parts are rare and disc brake swaps are very expensive unlike the regular C knuckle. Some came with CVs instead of u-joints and you can't tell without tearing it apart. It's worth maybe 50 bucks if you have a 73 ford that needs an axle.
