d35 to d44 swap. Ebrake cable?
I swapped in a d44 and the E brake cable that goes inside the actual drum is to short becuase the d44 is a 10" drum and the 35 is a 9". What did y'all do to fix this? I can buy new lines for 15$ but I dont know what car to buy them for- will any Jeep with 10" Drums work?

Have you let all the slack out of the parking brake cable mechanism by where the handle comes through the trans tunnel? I have about 4-5" of slack there on my stock axle.

The line itself has enough slack, but from where it enters the drum to where it attaches to the parking break mechanism is to short.
