That's exactly my plan. I'm going to cut the pumpkin side of the spring perches so everything is rotated and correctly positioned, sway mounts, track bar mount, spring buckets. I believe I have bent inner C's now. I plan on measuring, cutting the tubes off inside of the spring buckets, cutting the tubes off my disconnect axle housing ahead of the cast in portion placing these on the non-disconnect housing and weld in. Basically I should be able to turn to not so good axles into one better one with correct angles. Picked up Wj knuckles and Akebono brakes yesterday for $40 so thats going to happen too.

I doubt your C's are bent unless you've been jumping it. Either way it's a better plan than actually cutting and turning your C's (too much grinding for my lazy butt). Running those inner sleeves like a jig would make it practically idiot proof. If you plan to wheel this rig hard you should really be adding a beefy track bar bracket (wouldn't you have to anyway with the WJ knuckles?), upper control arm mount, and lower control arm mounts, and possibly a truss. All that factory stuff will bend easily under stress
anyway sounds like a fun project man post pics when you're done

How tight of a fit are the sleeves? If there is ANY slop between the sleeve and the axle tube, you should likely use a alignment bar to keep the axle straight. I commend you on taking on the task. I follow your logic. More headache than I wanted to deal with.

They are the full length of the axle tube and are machine fit. Requires lots of big sledgehammer work.

here's a video of someone doing an installation of the sleeves. Not a bad deal for $130. People chop/rotate/extend tubes using sleeve/slugs all the time its very common
