Default D30 CAD drawings?

Hey guys I am looking to find some CAD or technical drawings for either the diff cover or the housing for a D30. I'm trying to draw up some plans for a homemade diff cover. Searching attemps have been fruitless Thanks.

Why not just take an existing cover and stencil it?

Because it's my DD and I'm on a high school budget. Hence welding up my own diff cover. I already have materials.

I think he means use a stock cover and use it to trace a pattern.

I know, but I don't have an extra to trace. Its hard to take good measurements while its on the jeep.

Pull cover, save fluid if good, trace, put back together.

Buy diff cover gasket. Put it in a scanner. Scan it into a PDF. Perfect to scale.

Awesome. I will use the scanner and these drawings. It should be enough info to make a nice cover.

buy a gasket, trace it onto your material, cut out your new ring, start putting your cover together.

any way you go about it, this is essentially going to be how you do it, just cut out all the computer BS and do it like it would have been done before you were born...

OP can you post that gasket on here for everyone when you get it scanned in?

That would be wonderful.
