Default Cv shaft with no sye?

Is it possible to run a CV shaft without an SYE?

You'll have to install a hack and tap (cv yoke or flange) or SYE.

Yes they make slip yoke version but if you blow rear shaft you goona puke all Tc fluid out like factory shaft will. Sye or hack n tap will not.

Tatton's driveshaft makes a double cardin shaft with slip yoke. It will reduce driveline vibes but not eliminate them.
A CV style shaft is no good for a lifted jeep, found on Grands and Wranglers but not the XJ.

You're right but those stock shafts you showed have Rzeppa joints (a type of CV joint), those are NOT the ones we use in swaps. The type of CV shaft used in the swap is like the black shafts which are Dual Cardigan style (used in Xj fronts). Rzeppa joints do not like angles outside of their stock geometry as where the DC style can operate at higher angles.
