Looks like those tires are sticking pretty far out from the wheel well.

I'm thinking they may be far enough out to not rub anything, but I could be wrong. Hard to tell from that pic.

Fronts or rear?

Fronts I don't think there is anything to seal but the cut line you made. So spray paint, even if its clear will work.

Rears you have to be careful. Most just make notches about 1" apart as deep into the fender as you wanna cut away. Then bend them together toward the inside of the wheel well. Then spray with paint.

Look around, some on here have posted how they trim fenders and roll the rear quarters.

The further out they stick from the vehicle the more they will rub. Larger radius.

Well. The pic shows the obviously wider than stock footprint. So he must've figured out some way to reverse that.

Some rubberized undercoating will work pretty well for sealing it

You can stick pool noodles inside the front fenders once they're cut to keep the mud off your door hinges. This was in a jp magazine write up i believe

That's a damn good idea....I've been having that problem. Not just the front though, back too.
