Hey all. Don't flame me!

Background.

99 Cherokee, I have 2.5" spacers, and bastard pack for the rear.

I bought a parts jeep. It has on it, Rough Country 4.5" coils, and Leafs with extended shackles.

I don't want to go up that high. I use this as a DD and my kids/wife already hate getting into it.

Can I cut an inch worth of height off of these? Any other creative way to use them and not go the full height?

I'd be happiest at 3.5" (ish)

I don't think you can cut them because you need both of the ends because of the way the coil needs to be seated

Seems like doing anything at all would be waaay too much time and trouble for 1" (ish).

It would be better to have full springs than spacers on stock too though.

1 more inch is pretty good too

Put heavy bumpers on it. That'll weigh it down.

If I ever get the 2wd I want, Im going to lower it by cutting lift springs to get the higher spring rate.
