i was wondering if its possible and hopefully someone has taken the tie rod out of a heavier duty truck and made it work? i work in a junk yard so parts are endless and i was looking at a few 3/4 ton trucks and thinking i might be able to make it fit my xj. if anyones done this id be extremely interested in details thanks everyone

 

Get one from a 94-98 ZJ with a V8== Direct swap and about 3 times heavier than the stock XJ unit.
