A cry for help with alinment
Am about to go crazy. I have spent hundreds of dollars on the front end and been to two diff alinment shops and the damn thing still rids like the day I bought it with bad tie rod ends. Everything in the front is new but the steering box witch I have tightened ( and not to much). Track bar is almost perfectly parallel with the drag link and the shop says all the ball joints and bushings are good. They say that they can't adjust the caster or camber. The toe is set to 1/8 in in. I have a 5.5 inch rubicon lift with 2 1/2 in coil spacers with brings me to 8" of lift. Now I don't expect it to ride like a Cadillac but it darts all over the road. It's ok as long as I'm on a perfectly flat and smooth road but as soon as their are any bumps or change in angle it darts everywhere. Is their anything I can do. Thanx for any input.

Long arms come with a custom crossmember that goes where your transfer case crossmember is and moves the location of where the control arms attach to the frame back to compensate for the lift height. This gives you better flex and, for you, much much better ride quality (as it brings angles back close to stock)

I'll post some pics of what I have tomorrow when it's light out. Maybe that can help. I have that cross member. It looks like a big plate that runs across under the transfer case. I think I have all the necessary components it's just a matter of finding someone that deals with aftermarket stuff to get it all dials in. These folks around here don't know what to do if it's not stock and I don't have any good 4x4 shops around. I think I'm screwd.

Well this is true, but I find that there are so many people on here with so man xjs, that at least a couple people have had the exact same problem youre having and know how to fix it. That's why I love it.

Yeah. I just use google and cf stuff will usually pop up. Only down side is that it takes you to the full site and not the app. But whatever.
