Default Crunchy breaks

So went mudding the other day and the second I got back on the road my front breaks seem to be really crunchy, as if there's a ton of mud and dirt all up in there, but they still worked, it was just annoying cause I could kinda even feel it in the brake pedal. So I got home and sprayed everything underneath the chero and the next mornin on the way to work same ole crunchy gritty break noise/feeling. Anyone know what it might be???

Jacked up the rig and spun the wheels and there's no noise so i guess it's not the break pads...have the slightest feeling that it could be the rear drum breaks but then why would I feel it in the pedal?

I would pull the tires, front calipers and check to see if there is anything between the pads and rotors. Also pull the back drums and inspect them.

That looks a little expensive to me! I'd just go with Autozone cheapos probably...although it'd be nice to find rotors that don't rust like the Titanic.

Your next post is 666. Make it a good one.

So I guess he was right all along, they were BREAKS! However that may not have been the SOUL issue. I think a lot of the problem comes down to WHERE.......sorry - couldn't resist.
