would it be fine if aluminum flex pipe is used or would it break too easily?? also, what could i use to seal and water tight everything up? was thinking JBweld but someone said it was only for metal on metal applications?

i know how to make a snorkel..just wanted to know if JBweld is only for metal on metal applications. and if aluminum flex pipe is a good thing to use
