Default Control arm sleeving

I noticed on a thread that they took 1.5" dom with .120 wall and sleeved it with 1.75 with .120 wall. Whats the point in that? Why not just use 1.75 .25 wall?

Perhaps they just had both metals lying around, or already had the arms made and wanted them stronger

Very common when building arms that use weld-in bungs for heims. The bungs aren't available for the larger DOM so you start with smaller DOM and then sleeve to achieve the higher strength that larger DOM provides.

Make sense?
