Just installed my Rusty’s 4.5 long arm lift on my 99 xj and I’ve centered my track bar to the best of my ability and just about any bump I hit my driver side coil hits my track bar mount. I’ve self centered it by measuring from the body to the end of the tires and it’s within a 1/8”. Anything else I can check or do anything about it?
I managed to figure out one noise I was having, My driver side coil spring was colliding with my track bar bracket, I now see that my axle is too far forward, It's really hard to tell cuz my wheel looks centered under the car, when I have time I will shorten my arms tell the bumpstops are straight up and down (currently .75 inch off) and see if that helps in any way
here are some more photos, some of the clearance that I have for my UCA, There isn't much room before it hits the lines into the top of the body Noted that I park on the street so I have. Ahard time finding flat ground to get a good photo or place to work
Mine does the same thing with fixed length LCAs at ~3" of lift. I sliced open a piece of heater hose, pushed it onto the coil and then secured it with zip ties. Been like that for a couple years now without noise or one bit of maintenance...
