mine are pretty basic... I found the idea online... basically a 3/16 thick large steel plate and a matching steel tube welded together... works well

I see. I'm making mine from 6" diameter cold roll haha!!!

Do you need an extra set of coil insulators when adding coil spacers?

e.g.

Body of Jeep
insulator
spacer
insulator
coil
