I as just looking for input here over the past week I have had a strange chassis clunking from the front end never heard it before the lift and alignment everything is tight
I was checking the ball joints and tie rod ends by jacking it up and wiggling the wheels back and fourth it is moving them both up and down but thee ball joints are solid I noticed the axle shaft moving up and down a little bit my thought is maby wheel bearings? but there no noise but the clunking
any ideas what it sounds like?

the sound Is coming from both wheels ever time I turn its not the track bar or tie rods or any of that its either the wheel bearings u joints or could it be one of the bearings in the dif not holding the axle shafts steady what its doing is almost like if I had lose lugs on the wheel

i had clunks after my 3" lift and i went nuts trying to pinpoint it, turns out the clunk wasnt my front end, it was my t-case moving around because of a bad transfer case rubber mount, the 4wd linkage was hitting the floor when i would put a load on the transmission, replaced the rubber and problem solved

track bar bolt on the axle end. usually comes loose. lay under the axle and have someone turn the wheel from side to side to see if its loose.
i didnt see you mention it so thats my suggestion.
