So I put a 4.5" on it and ever since then it has had a loud clucking noise. It does it every time I hit a bump and when I'm doing 50-65 mph it starts shaking and making the clucking noise but I have to hit a bump to start it. I can feel every time it clunks in the floor and the steering wheel.

I've replaced the track bar with an IRO double shear adjustable one. The hole isn't wallowed out the 7/16 bolt fit very snug. Also replaced lower control arms with rustys adjustables with the flex joints and none of the holes were wallowed out.

Ive crawled up under there and wiggled every suspension component and steering component for the past 3 days none made any noise at all.

Didn't happen to find one of these under there?

In all seriousness... what about your swaybar?

Tires balanced?

Is your alignment in spec?

Have you tested ball joints to see if they are bad?

Is the FRAME mount of your TB loose? Mine always used to wiggle lose on my 98...would clunk like hell..

Id go ahead and upgrade to a ZJ tie rod (with new TRE's) just for the extra piece of mind on the trail, and the fact that youll have new TREs.

Did you install a t-case drop or SYE also? Maybe it's your driveshaft? U-joints maybe?

Also, off topic, but I too had a '99 Ranger with a 3" body lift and 33's! AND MT classic II's! I'd love to see pics of yours if you have any handy. Miss that truck!

Just put the tires on 2 weeks ago ringgold offroad balanced them

track bar was torqued to spec when put on 1 month ago checked after one week and 500 miles of driving

Just checked the TRE's only thing wrong with it is that the bushing thing was busted but no where near the sound it makes when driving it

Zj steering and Durango steering box will come with my next trip to the JY

1" t-case drop and some play in drive shafts front and rear.

Dont get JY steering..
Just buy it new....

You can get a BRAND New Rod, and end, with adjuster sleeve for around 50 bucks at advance auto with a coupon.

Looks good! I got into Cherokee country when the frame rotted out on my Ranger. Probably fixable, but not worth it. Course now my Jeep has rust issues too, but they are all fixable. Good luck with the clunk

Check your control arms. With Rusty's flex joints you tighten them before installing, ride around a bit then tighten them again. You'll need to check them a couple of times before they get settled in.
