Default Clayton Long Arm Finally!

The Big Brown truck of happiness was at my house today to drop off my Clayton longarm lift. Holy Makeral is this thing beefy! As soon as I finish up my rear disc brake swap, going to start on it. Will take some pics when I can remember.

As soon as this is on I will be:
Adding frame stiffeners
SYE and clocking the transfer case while I am at it
Upgrade steering, possibly one ton but might just do bolt on Currie.
Swapping out the puny 15 inch 30x9.50s to 17 inch 35x12.50s
Adding Detroit locker rear, elocker front
Upgrading to 4.88s.

Goal is to have all done by mid-August. Gonna stay busy.

sounds like a good plan, sounds similar to my jeep except i went w/ 4.56 & a tnt skid w/ a custom built 3 link. you may want to do the frame stiff. before the susp. kit goes on if it can work that way . makes a stronger platform to attach sus. kit to. now get to work.

Most folks that I have seen have added the frame stiffeners around the long-arm mount, but mounting it to the frame stiffeners makes better sense. I will check with Clayton and see if their kit was designed to work that way.
