I started with a basic Rustys 3" full leaf/coil/shock pkg. installed it and for the next year bought up parts needed for a 4 1/2" lift with all good parts. It took that long and I knew that I had bought parts that I could reuse for part of it the leafs and coils. Lots of parts and money later about $5-6K I had it installed except for the long arm setup.

Once you go over 3" of lift the money increases a lot to do things properly, keep that in mind before you start.

I know I'll do a long arm lift but seeing so many people that have built their own makes me want to do that. Hmmmm, too many decisions in the jeep world

Piece it together. Do it right, and do it once. You'll be happier that way. You can get free shipping from most places. Plus it's holiday season! Most vendors here have good deals around this time of year.

BTW, here's this for reference. Courtesies from NewKindOfClown.
