Default Cherokee Side Panel Covers

Hi i'm wondering in anybody has made their own custom side panel covers similar to the ones sold by rocky road. If so post an pictures and what are your thoughts regarding this type of mod.

methods of attachment?

Check out JCR's ultimate sliders. Somewhat the same idea except that they may provide some actual protection. They use screws as well.

I'm not a fan of diamond plate the smittybilt ones are steel real easy to paint and hide.

X2... Not a fan of diamond plate on XJ's. Maybe because all of the redneck F-350's with 6 feet of lift here are covered in it...

Just want to post this here for anybody who comes across this thread. I came across Richliveshots search and rescue build thread and he does an awesome job of making the exact kind of side panel covers I had in mind when I first started this thread.
