I'm saving up my pennies and getting one from Performance-Curve.

X2 on the setup from Performance Curve. Lookup Mudfrog on this forum. I got my Magnaflow and 2.5" mandrel bent tail pipe for ~$100 from him.

It comes with the standard clamps, 3 of them IIRC. You will need hangars though.

I made my own catback, got less than $50 in it. Thrush muffler, some cheap pipe, and a welder is all it took.

Or, I know around here, an exhaust shop will build whatever you want for less than the cost of most cat back systems. And it will be welded, not clamped on.

I will not use clamps on exhaust, but that's just me. Too easy to rip the exhaust off with clamps. Whatever you end up with, I'd weld it.

x3 on the performance curve. I just bought a FM muffler from em and put a turn out pipe. Free shipping and a fast ship time.

Welding wouldn't be a problem for me, but i don't know about the loudness of the Flowmaster / Magnaflow mufflers I'm kind of looking for a slightly above stock throaty sound.

I,by myself, put this system on last week.

Everything fit up perfect. I did shorten the back end of the tailpipe 2.5" just because it was a bit lower than my receiver hitch but it still has a turndown. Sound is a bit more than my 17yr old stock system with no leaks was. The muffler is an IMCO hi-po turbo #911. I did opt to go with 3 band clamps(lap style)for the pipe seams which did bump the price up $30 but was well worth it if you can't or don't want to weld plus you can disassmble the system if you would want to change components at some point. I put hi temp rtv in the seams before clamping. Double checked everything yesterday and all is tight with no leaks. Beings you have a 2.5" cat you would need a 9.5" length of 2.5" o.d. pipe instead of the 9.5"x2.5"x2.25" adapter that comes with the system.
One thing. When trying to decide which system to buy I listened to alot videos of exhaust sounds. Not that it was a waste of time but mine sounds nothing like the one I did listen to.
