I had the local muffler shop fabricate all 5 of the XJ's in the family. The exhaust was cut near the oil pan and stainless pipe with Borla ss muffler and a ss cat were run under the jeep. I spent $220.00 on parts and was charged $45 for the fabrication which took about 1 hour to complete. I was very happy.

So you're positive it will fit? Just asking because I am going to place the order today and want to get the right part. I do not have a welder so do you think I could clamp it without issues?
Speaking as the Tech/mechanic in those situations, people that do that are the most hated individuals on the planet next to the engineers that design Cadillacs and Lincolns lol. If you can't trust the Tech working on your car/truck enough to let them do their job without standing over them questioning them about everything they're doing, you might wanna find a different shop.
When I changed the exhaust on my XJ I just got a factory replacement tail pipe from Napa and it was only like $25-30 normal cost iirc, being I'm a Tech for a living as mentioned above I got it at cost which was like $17.
