I installed an ironman adjustable trackbar a few months back. I used the self centering technique, bouncing up and down on bumper, pushing it side to side, turning wheel back and forth. Seems to still be a inch or so over to the passenger side.

I measured from the frame to the inside of the tire. Any better way to measure?

My adjustment is at the frame side. I'm guessing unbolt this side. Then can I use a rachet strap at my bumper d-ring to pull to body over?

I'm guessing it was the alignment video with the wrangler. Watched it and he used a laser for a lot of measurements. I saw he used the center of the bumper to get centerline for the body. Good tip, so correct me if I'm wrong....... if im on jack stands I can use a plumb bob to

1. Mark from center of rotors straight down to level ground, draw line straight across from rotor to rotor, divide by two....that should be center of axle

(Unbolt trackbar at adjustment side)

2. If I have a known center of bumper, and a right angle ruler, I would drop plumb bob from center of bumper and pull the body until right in the middle of axle line.

I just unbolt the track bar at one end, measure from the coil posts to the outer edge of my fenders, then steer back and forth until they come up as the same distance on both sides (helps to have someone hold the wheel as hydraulic creep will push it back a bit once you let go).

This is exactly correct! Adjusting the panhard bar is not rocket science. Disconnect the frame end and use the strap to pull which ever direction the axle needs to move. I just eyeball so the same amount of tire is visible on each side and call it good. Be advised, once you adjust the panhard bar you will also need to adjust the drag link to re-center the steering wheel.

You didn't bounce hard enough. I do all of my Jeeps that way. No need to push anything side to side or turn the steering wheel. Just make sure the ground is flat.

I'm about 250 lbs hahaha, I bounced the living crap out of it. I'm starting to think I forgot to readjust the trackbar after i added a 3/4 inch spacer to level out my lift. Whatever not a big deal, I'll give the bouncing technique another shot. Thanks
