Default Center Caps or Not?

Just got some new Summit Racing 15x8 D window wheels. I'm gonna go with black lug nuts and at first I was thinking no Center Caps but now I'm thinking I want them... What are you guys running?? I'd like black..

I ran stock Jeep centercaps on my Soft 8's. I thought it looked really good. You could paint them black if you'd like.

Those do look good. I'd do that.

Don't you have to drill a couple holes to use em?

Good idea! I have the stock black ones right now... But yeah don't you have to drill hole? I forgot how they mount to the stock rims, there's something on them that keeps them in place? Clips maybe?

You have to drill 3 small holes. Holes so small that if you decide you want to take them off that you never notice them.

Here's a write-up on the topic.

There's all varying manufacturers that make centercaps that snap onto the lugnuts and will work with aftermarket wheels. You'd have to customize them to remove emblems but you can find them all over ebay.

I used OEM Ford snap on centercaps on my old ranger with steel wheels.

Kinda hard to tell in this picture with all the bling but... this is the only picture I still have of this truck.

Caps like these snap onto the lug nuts and fit in the flat part of the steel wheels nicely.

A better question is "why wouldn't you drive that ranger?"

Just because we are Jeep enthusiasts doesn't mean that we don't have other interests.. Well, some of us at least
