CB Roof Mount
Want a cb roof mount? Cheap? Ok. here ya go.
Get some 3"x2" L brackets (1'" wide). Get some washers, wire nuts, and get ready.
This is simple, when you remove the keyless entry panel on the roof (the thing that looks like a mini security camera), their will be some holes.
I used the two holes that did not have the plastic fitting inside of them (you'll know what im talking about when you pull the panel.) Add some washers to the screws that originally held the panel in place and screw the L brackets in place.
Wiring:
Theres a fused red positive in that general area that goes to the passenger vanity mirror light. Splice into that and theres your positive. I cut the negative from the connector that went to the wireless sensor board. (mine is useless, an alarm was installed by PO, which i removed).
Antenna cable can be routed under the headliner along the lip of the windshield, then the upper panels can be loosened and the cable tucked under there. And there ya go. I'm still not sure about the mic mount. Here's a picture.
