Just curious if anyone ever removed thier cargo windows and put in sheet metal?

im actually in the process of making that happen. lol

i'll be using 1/8" plate instead of sheet metal. hinge it, and put a lock on the outside so i can access the cargo area without opening the hatch. plus im going to seal it with weather stripping.

you got something going yet?

Not yet. I just started thinking about it earlier today. If I do it. I ll be welding it on So it ll look like a panel van, or in this case, wagon lol.

Yeah I think 1/8 would be better.

1/8 is pretty beefy.

If you do it like a tool access it would be cool to have an upper area that us easy to access. Even a basket style roof rack would be cool back there.
