Hi,

I recently bought a 98 XJ (lifted on 35") and sometimes the car steers to the right, sometimes to the left, nothing sudden, and it last for a few seconds, I correct and then it's ok for few minutes and it does it again in the other direction. What could be the problem and how do I go about fixing it?

Have someone check the front end for looseness first. If nothing found, get an alignment.

 

Yea get it aligned.

 

Ok cool thanks for the replies, I was planning to do that to fix a death wobble anyways, so if that can fix both problems that would be great!
