CAD vs Non CAD

CAD vs Non CAD
I am having problems with the CAD in my dana 30 91 cherokee. My wife has a 2000 cherokee w/NO CAD. Can I replace the two piece passenger side axle shafts on my 91 with the one piece pass. side axle from the 2000 cherokee, thus eliminating the CAD altogether? Thanks for any input.

Yes, tho you have to seal off the vac actuator first.
There's a seal kit and block off plate that you'll need.
TJ, YJ, MJ, DJ... It's all the same.
