i think it is a 8.25 but sure. little help? its flat on the bottom of the diff so that y i think 8.25

See how in the pic there the diff has a really flat bottom ?

Thats what gives away the fact that its an 8.25.

Dana 35 has a bolt for the filler hole.

8.25 has rubber plug. Just like the first pic.

its a good idea to silicone that rubber plug so water doesn't get in there (if you go though deep water atall).

now the question is, is it a 27 or 29 spline? newer ones '97 and up i believe, are the 29 spline, and older 8.25s have the 27 spline shafts.
