A/C Delete, Alternator move in place?

Engine: 4.0L 6Cyl, K&N, 62mm TB, Electric Fans, D Neon Injectors, Head gasket needing replaced.
A/C Delete, Alternator move in place?
I've got a '97 XJ 4.0 and would like to take out my A/C and put the alternator in place, if possible.
I've searched for a write with no joy. Anybody got some knowledge, especially what size of belt after, changes to the compressor mount, or any other gouge. An electric fan will also be put in.
Tired of my alt sitting so low.
