I have started noticing lately that my front axle has a nice thud to it when i take off and go over some bumps... looked underneath and im pretty sure my uca bushings are no bueno i can see that theyre some what dry rotten but i can see too much of them (in general) im on rough countrys 6.5 L.A. and have only had it maybe 7-8 months. Got a little curious on the bushings everywhere else and found that all four of my shocks are no good either.

Can anyone help me with any part of this? i dont know too much about bushings ? Maybe im wrong on the uca bushing but thats my best guess.

Thanks Taylor

some superficial cracking on bushings is probably ok. with my stock lowers, the eyelets that connected them to the axle had "peeled" a little and you could actually look thru them. so there was enough room in there to allow for some play. stuff like this is something to watch out for. things that might cause a clunk are the u joints. get the tires off the ground and grab the tire on top and bottom and pull.. if theres play, check them sooner than later.
