Default bumper mounting brackets

im getting rteady to get started on my kill bumper with winch for the xj.Somwhere i saw a bumper company that has a mounting bracket that also wraps under the frame and attaches to the two sway bar bolt holes .I can not find them or the company thats doing this .Any body else seen them

looks like same bracket i going to see if they can increase to 1/4 thick and about 12 inchs longer in the front the way the arrow points

I guess you can always call them up and ask them if they can custom make you a set. Just tell them how much extra you want hanging off the front of the bracket so you can weld your own premade bumper to there bracket.

they make it that way because they designed it as an option to bolt their bumpers too.

saves the mall crawlers some money, while giving the people that are actually gonna use it the option of tieing it in.

if you are building a whole bumper im sure you know how to weld some steel on it yourself if you want it sticking out further.

thats the nicest set of tie in brackets i have seen made for xjs.

i liked them because they also come with spacers for inserting into the pass frame im getting ready formy build i was not planning on a winch bumper but a recent raffle win changed my mind 5 bucks and i won this......SCORE......
