Default Bump stop help.

Help me out here. I noticed that my front suspension appears to be hitting the driver front bump stop quite regularly, never the right. The odds go up if I'm slightly downhill approaching an angular dip, however some uneven surfaces will also do it. I've got a 6" Rubicon express four-link and brand new Rancho 9000 XL shocks. Brand new 315 75 16 BFG Mud Terrain tires. I think the bushings in the four-link need replacement if that helps. Thanks in advance.

if the suspension is compressing far enough to hit the bumpstop too frequently, bushings aren't going to fix that. you either need to adjust your bumpstop setup, or your shocks are not working properly.

It looks like you have more room between bump stops than you do shock stroke, are you sure you are bumped correctly? Also, unrelated, but do you have any pics of your lower shock mount without the shock installed?

I would take a small tie rap and put it on the shock rod and see if the shock is bottoming , put the tie rap about 1 inch from the top and see if it gets pushed to the top if it does then you need to reset the shock mounts to stretch out the shock so it does not bottom the shock .
