Default More lift? Bump stops?

Took my jeep in the woods yesterday, haven't even had her a full week either. I found out why my flares were all loose. The tires are hitting them on big bumps and when the suspension twists. The tires are 31x12.5s and I believe I have a.75" spacer in the front and 1.5" shackle in the rear. I dont have a lot to invest in this right now. I was thinking bout doing a 1" spacer in the rear and .75 in the front to help, if my struts can handle it. They are Rancho RS5000. I might even swing 3" lift springs front and rear.

How can I measure for bumps stops? Im assuming Ill need the no matter how much I lift the car without goin crazy. Im thinking maybe just throwing some bump stops on for now will be the best bet.

I need a fix as cheap as possible,

While most people will argue that lifting it more doesn't fix the problem (your tires can still flex to the stock bumpstops which would rub tires) it does reduce the likeliness of it happening. If you're worried about messing up your fenders the best thing to do would be bumpstops, though a bit more lift would definitely help. Hockey pucks are a cheap easy way of getting more front bumpstop length.

I played with the bump stops yesterday. I got the rear to not hit the fenders but thats with 3.5" added to the bump stop. There's only about 3/4" between the bump stop and the axle now and its bottoming out over mild bumps.

How far into the bump stop will the axle go while driving? I rode up on some spare tires i had laying around about 20" or so high. The axle was into the stop atleast 1/2" maybe more. Im thinking 20" for one wheel is pretty extreme for my setup and will never reach that on the trails, Id tear the body up then. I def need to shorten the bumps stops a bit for everyday driving, but om not sure how much?
