last year on the way to my hunting spot (aprox 5-7 miles back in the woods) I broke through a frozen mud hole in my 1999 wj and busted the bottom of the radiator. it was a long slow ride back to the house. fortunately I didn't overheat the jeep and once i put a new radiator in all was good..
My question is, I am now driving 1998 xj that is stock with 30 x 9.5 15 tires and was wondering if any body has made a bumper or any modification that would help bust the ice and direct it away from the radiator. it appears the radiator is higher and protected by the bumper in the xj compared to the wj.
