Does anyone know how this part of the brake line mounts to the caliper?

It mounts with a Banjo Bolt

Haha thats not what I meant. Does it mount vertically or horizontally? Does it look right from the picture?

How tight is it suppose to be? Also it may look tight because of the dirt/oil around it.

no the actual line. basically even at full droop you should have a little slack it should NEVER be taught

Oh ok. It's fine then it's just the picture the line has a lot of slack. They were fresh out of the box when I installed them.
