Default Bored Renix Throttle body

I have a source to bore the throttle body on my Renix, but need to get a butterfly for the increase in diameter. I know with my 99 cherokee the throttle body is 60mm at the butterfly and necks down to 58mm. I have two questions on this. Can I use the butterfly from my spare new style throttle body when boring out the Renix one and if so, would I bore the renix to 60mm? Thanks in advance!

I have read about people adapting newer throttle bodies to use with renix sensors

I've seen those, but I was hoping I could just swap butterflies and keep it simple.

The shaft has a slot in middle of it. Theoretically if it's possible to swap butterflies. You would need to cut the slot bigger so the bigger butterfly need to go through.

$110 vs $25 I'm balling on a budget here. If I had $110 to spend I'd have injectors by now or maybe a new brake booster.

I'd do injectors or a brake booster before I did a bored throttle body.

I plan to, but I was asking the question since it was on my mind at the time. Whenever I get my tax return I'll grab a couple of parts.

Okay. Got it.

You'll love the booster.

The 746 injectors from jhc7399 on here are great. Throttle body should wait.

Can I use my master with a newer Cherokee booster and not have to swap or change anything else or do I need a new master with the new booster? Most swaps I've seen get a new master too, but I didn't know if it was necessary or they were just replacing more parts.

Use 95-96 booster or a WJ booster. For some reason I don't see 97-01 boosters being used

You should try it and report back. Maybe we've been missing something all this time?

Nah. I already picked up a 96 booster a while ago.
