Boomerang shackles
Looks for pics of a lifted xj with shock shackle box with boomerang shackles. I have A 4.5 lift with full leafs and shackles hit the body and my buddy gave me a set of boomerang shackels to install. I know it's gonna lift it more that fine I wanna see what they look like if they are still going to hit the body or not. I will be adding a spacer or bigger coil up front to make up the lift that it will need

The purpose of longer-than-stock boomerang shackles is to allow more fore-aft movement of the shackle, required for lift springs, especially 4.5" springs. The bend in shackle helps avoid contact with chassis. The bumper bolts are a different story and may require trimming. These are Clayton 3-way shackles on BDS 3.5" leaf springs, total lift = between 4.5 - 5". Divide added height of shackle by half, for ballpark of lift height that will be added to jeep.

These are Clayton 3-way shackles on BDS 3.5" leaf springs, total lift = between 4.5 - 5". Divide added height of shackle by half, for ballpark of lift height that will be added to jeep.

Looks like the IRO shackles add 1-1.5" of lift. You should be okay if you level the front...either new springs or a spacer. Make sure your shocks have enough travel, that your brake lines lengths are sufficient, and hopefully your pinion angle is ok. Do you have shims or an SYE installed?
I have a sye and drive shaft. Shims I got that came with the lift might have to be changed tho. Also I was gonna do the shackels see how much lift it gives and order springs. Brakes lines I'm good. I'm wondering if I should ditch the stock pitman arm for a RE one

The drag link and track bar need to be parallel to prevent bump steer and other issues. I used a drop pitman arm when I installed a double shear track bar with drop bracket.

Boomerangs give you clearance to the bumper/bdoy, but don't change the shackle angle sadly.
Those shackle angles don't look any better than stock.....how does it ride ?
