Sorry gents, balancing work and XJ thoughts. Trying not to ignore any help...

I want to be able to cleanly remove these mounts.

The RK 3-link has individual mounts for each control arm, right? It doesn't replace the crossmember?
Yep individual mounts. You can get one with crossmember, but I didn't go with the combo.

I actually drilled straight through one of the plastic clips that holds the lines and had to pull it out and use a cable tie to pull the lines up out of the way. With that gone, the LA mount and the lines don't interfere with each other. The exhaust on the other side is a different story... I can upload a picture tonight if you're interested.
Yes, please!

There is plenty of room down there at least. Lines won't be too horrible.

My RC LA kit went in without a problem, just held the lines away while drilling, now they're sitting around the nut comfortably

Yep, you really want those crush sleeves installed. A 90* drill REALLY helps while drilling out the unibody rail for the sleeves.

That's what I'm hoping for. But I don't trust the lines.

I tried a harbor freight 90* attachment, it broke after the first hole

The Full Traction mounts have a sleeved hole for a 9/16" bolt that goes through the frame rail. I don't have a 9/16" drill bit, but I have a long 1/2" bit, so I ran that through the hole from the outside of the frame rail. From the inside I took my dremel tool with a little grinder bit on a 90-deg attachment and ran it around to open the hole up a little more.

With these LA mounts you have to drill through the frame in about 10-12 places on each side. The Jeep was really fighting me yesterday. I broke 3 drill bits in the process.

Hardware store will rent me one for $14 a day. Milwaukee Electric brand. Probably the way to go.

I think the RK mounts require 2, the rest are already there for the cross member.

Can't argue with that. I ended up dropping $50 on a royabi, after the $20 for the pos adapter.

Sad thing is if I rent it I'll return it and shortly after I'll find a dozen more uses for it.
