The same.

I like the idea of adhesives, it interesting.

W/ some of the body panel adhesive made now a days, if you were to "adhere" a panel that size to a solid surface, you would never get it off again.

Idk, it a interesting idea.

I work with aerospace composites. Carbon fiber is brittle and expensive unless I'm missing something..Who is OP?

Lotus uses an epoxy resin for bonding (in lieu of welding) some of its chassis designs, so it's not impossible by any means. And those things hold up to all kinds of deflection and torsional forces...can't imagine a slab of armor with all that surface area to bond to would have it any worse.
