removing a trac bar bracket, frame side
hello all,
I know this should be simple, but i wanted to see if there are any issues i should be aware of for removing the frame side trac bar bracket.
its being upgraded with a new track bar and bracket, ive simply never removed one, nor do i want to snap anything if thats common?
thank you

#1 - its a tight squeeze between 2 of the track bar mount nuts and the spring. But it is possible to get them out without removing the spring.
#2 - sometimes the track bar mount that is on the axle needs to get drilled out to 1/2" (common with aftermarket upgraded style track bars). Its not a big deal but keep it in mind.

im waiting to hear if they will supply this rather than needing a new jjoint. Their website doesnt list any info on this difference on bolt sizes.
thus far they have been very willing to address ?s
does a 12mm bolt sound right for a johnny joint? the frame side bolt they provided is far bigger than the lower stock axle side.
